Eligibility: A) Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution; with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. B) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject. C) Provided that in case of students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects. D) Provided further that, the students belonging to B. Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. E) Provided further that students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved Institution or B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. BASIS OF SELECTION FOR ADMISSION

1 A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to Direct Second Year of B.Tech.(Engineering) Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in point no 3, above.

2 He/She must have appeared for the ET (DIP) - 2018 Test [Written Test] conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.

3 The candidates whose names appear in the list prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in ET (DIP) - 2018 should attend the Counselling and on-the-spot admissions sessions to the various branches and courses as per their ranks in the merit list. The Counselling Sessions combined for all branches will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Engineering, Pune-Satara Road, Pune 411043. Mere appearance in the entrance test and inclusion of name in the merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the college. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

4 In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the ET (DIP) - 2018, the inter rank of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as under :

a) If equal on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in Final Year Diploma examination.

b) If equal total marks at 10th Std. Examination.

c) In case of tie at this level, computerised random selection of candidate will be carried out
