Goa University had made a decision that there will be no semester-end exams will be held for the first to fourth-year students of the B.Arch programme for the academic year 2019-20. Although, the final year exam will be conducted by the Goa College of Architecture.
“The fifth-year B.Arch examination is to be conducted by the college and the marks to be submitted to the examination division for the processing of the result. Although attendance will not be the eligibility criterion for the examination,” as said by the circular issued by the Goa University that has been issued on Monday.
The final year examination and any repeat examination will be conducted from July 1. The students will be evaluated on the basis of sessional assessment grades, university registrar Y V Reddy informed this.
Also, the final year viva will be conducted with an external examiner who resides within the state only, in the month of July. No student will be detained and given further chances to clear the examination and improve their grades.
