NEET UG 2026 Exam Overview
The country's largest medical entrance examination, NEET UG 2026, concluded on 3rd May. This year, over 2.2 million students have taken their first major step towards becoming doctors. Although the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the official figures later, based on past trends, this year's cut-off could look something like this
General and EWS Categories
Candidates in these categories will need to achieve at least the 50th percentile to qualify. In terms of marks, this is expected to be between 686 and 144.
OBC, SC and ST Categories
A 40th percentile is mandatory for the reserved categories, which means that students who score between 113 and 143 marks can also qualify.
