Why NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Is Getting Delayed
According to reports, the NEET UG re-exam may now be held in June. The results are then expected by mid-July. Counselling could begin in August after the results are released. In this scenario, the academic session will start two months late.Pre-scheduled exams pose a hurdle.Finding a date for the NEET UG Re-exam with immediate effect is proving to be a challenge even for the NTA. The NEET examination is held in government schools and colleges, so scheduling it for a Sunday ensures the availability of a large number of centres. Furthermore, a significant number of invigilators will need to be appointed for the examination, which makes conducting it at short notice a challenging task.
No Fresh Registration Required for Students
According to information shared by the NTA, no student will need to register again to take the exam. The existing form will remain valid.
New Admit Card and City Intimation Slip to Be Issued
