: | The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year. He/ She should be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry. Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages. Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together. However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%. Admission to the course shall be based on National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by National Board of Examinations. Advertisement are released in all leading dailies during the month of January / February for the application of the entrance examination. Candidates can register online (see www.nbe.edu.in). Entrance examinations are conducted during the month of April / May. Admission to this program will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidates will be called for registration and online counselling process by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) through the website kea.kar.nic.in and allotment of the seat is based on the merit list published by KEA. |
