All India Bar Examination XV 2020 or AIBE XV 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to LL.B.. AIBE XV 2020 is conducted by All India Bar Examination.

AIBE XV for the year 2020 has been announced by All India Bar Examination and will be held on 24/01/2021. The application forms will be available from 16/05/2020 till 19/12/2020. The exam is in written mode. Admit card will be available from 25/12/2020. The result date will be announced later.

The objective of The All India Bar Examination is to examine an advocate's capability to practice the profession of law in India. The All India Bar Examination will assess skills at a basic level, and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; it addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law.

    Important Instructions

    • No study material will be provided.
    • Candidate has to be enrolled with respective State Bar Council to appear for the AIBE. 
    • Council reserves the right to extend the said examination date in case of unavoidable circumstances. 
    • In case the AIBE XV 2020 date is changed and if a candidate is unable to appear, he should inform within 10 days of release of such dates.

    Payment Instructions

    • In case of failure message in terms of payment received at the payment page, candidates are requested to send us an email on aibe.bci@gmail.com and wait for 24 hours for their payment status. 
    • Payment status will be received via e-mail, if not; candidate can check their application status online or contact us on our helpline number.

    Application Form Filling Instructions

    Students applying for the AIBE XV 2020 have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected. 

    Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of AIBE XV 2020:

    • PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity 
    • Qualification details
    • Scanned copy of passport photograph in JPG or JPEG format and Scanned copy of signature in JPG or JPEG format.
    • Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
    • Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
    • For online payments, usually a online payment / SBI challan Service is a must.
    • Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber - cafe..
    • It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

    The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the AIBE XV 2020:

    • Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created.
    • Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections.
    • Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Enrollment Certificate. 
    • Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

    Additional instructions for candidates under SC / ST Category

    • Applicants from SC / ST category are also required to upload a self-attested copy of their SC / ST certificate along with the other required documents. 
    • In case SC / ST certificate is not uploaded, no relaxation on fees will be provided. 
    • In case any candidate has applied under the category of SC / ST and does not provide proper documents, then their registration shall be rejected and the amount will not be refunded. Such candidates will have to apply afresh.

    Additional Instructions for disabled / physically challenged candidates

    • Candidates with 50% or more disability under specific category like blindness, amputated arms will be given 20 minutes extra time per hour.  
    • Candidates under this category are required to upload a self-attested copy of their disability certificate. 
    • Candidates are required to carry their disability certificate on the day of examination as well.
    • In case disability certificate is not uploaded during the registration process or before the release of admit card, no extra time will be provided. 

    Instructions for candidates with illness / special needs

    • Candidates suffering from any illness which requires special attention are required to inform the same via e-mail.
    • Candidates are required to carry a certified copy from the doctor on the day of examination.
    • In case such information is not provided during the registration process or before the release of admit card, no special facility will be provided.

    Important Instructions regarding application forms

    • This exam is applicable only for enrolled advocates. Enrollment number / certificate issued by any state bar council is mandatory for application.
    • All the documents should be self attested.
    • In case you have entered any wrong information or uploaded a wrong document, Kindly get it rectified by mailing us the correction along with your registration number on aibe.bci@gmail.com, before the release of admit card.
    • Any rectification requests received after the release of admit card will be sent to the council for approval, any inconvenience caused due to the same will be the responsibility of the candidate.
    • The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.

    “The link for center change that was made available on 16 / 09 / 2020 has now been disabled. We feel elated to introduce 2 new cities as center locations in AIBE XV i.e. Kanpur and Gorakhpur. All the candidates who are appearing for AIBE - XV on 08 / 11 / 2020, fresh applicants whereas the candidates belonging to canceled centers of AIBE-XIV can request for center change by sending us an email at aibe.bci@gmail.com under the subject "Request for center change: AIBE XV 2020”.

    Examination Day Instructions

    Before entering the Exam Centre

    • Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card. 
    • Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
    • Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
    • If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
    • Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
    • Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
    • Usually no bags are allowed.
    • No eatables are allowed.
    • No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager / wireless set / scanner / camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
    • Calculators are allowed / not allowed in the exam.

    After entering the centre 

    • Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat. 
    • After all the formalities, candidates should enter the allotted hall and take the designated seat. 
    • Questions have to be answered on the answer sheet only. 
    • Copying, use of unfair means of any kind, talking, asking questions from other candidates or borrowing of material inside the Test Centre is strictly prohibited.
    • Smoking is not allowed.
    • Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
    • Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet / cancellation of the candidature.
    • Marking the answer sheet or question paper in any way will also lead to cancellation of the exam for that candidate.
