Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam for Master of Insurance and Risk Management / Master of Human Resource Management 2023 or AMU Entrance Exam (MIRM / MHRM) 2023 is the entrance examination for admission to Master of Insurance and Risk Management and Master of Human Resource Management. AMU Entrance Exam (MIRM / MHRM) 2023 is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University.

Section (i): Language Comprehension
Objective: To test a candidate’s skill of quick comprehension and verbal ability both of which reflect a person’s ability to understand facts faster than his/her peers and also his/her skill in organizing thoughts and expressing them in a clear manner.
Contents: Comprehension at paragraph and sentence identification of mistakes (grammatical usage); Vocabulary Word formation, Synonyms, Antonyms, Pairing of Words and Matching, Analogies: Grammar-Tenses, Sentence Structure, Active Passive, Articles, Prepositions, Prepositional Idioms, Completion of Sentences.
Section (ii): Basic Mathematical Skills
Objective: To test a candidate’s skill of the use of basic mathematical skills that is needful in the competitive world.
Contents: Elementary Mathematics Arithmetic: - Number system, Ration and Proportion, Mixtures and Allegation, Time and Distance, Commercial Maths; Profit and loss, Interest; Algebra; Permutation and Combinations; Sequence and Series.
Section (iii): Data Analysis and Sufficiency
Objective: to test a candidate’s ability to understand data and then drawing inference from it.
Contents: Graph (Line, Area), charts (Column, Bar, Pie), Venn Diagram; Elementary Statistics, mean, Median, Mode, Range, Standard Deviation, Mean Deviation, Variance.
Section (iv): Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
Objective: To test a candidate’s intelligence and reasoning with respect to arguments and logic.
Contents: Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Analogy, Letter Series, Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Logical Diagrams and Syllogism
Section (v): Indian and Global Environment
Objective: To test a candidate’s general awareness and how much he/she is updated in current affairs.
Contents: Characteristics of Indian Economy, Basic Economics Indicators, Industrial trade, Fiscal, Budgetary and Monetary Politics, Indian Banking and Insurance System, Corporate Sector, Indian and International Trade, Economic Agreements, Changes in Economics, Political, Technological and Socio Cultural Environment, Current Affairs in the Indian and Global Perspective.
