APJEE 2020 Exam - Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Pattern

Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2020 or APJEE 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to Dip. (Automobile Engg.), Dip. (Civil Engg.), Dip. (Computer Science and Engg.), Dip. (Electrical and Electronics Engg.), Dip. (Hotel Management and Catering Technology) and other courses. APJEE 2020 is conducted by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education.

APJEE for the year 2020 has been announced by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education and will be held on 16/10/2020. The application forms will be available from 04/03/2020 till 30/06/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. Admit card will be available from 10/10/2020. Result is expected to be announced on 17/10/2020.

Eligibility Criteria

The children of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST), children of Non - APST employees of the State Government, the Central Government & the Central Public Sector Undertakings serving in Arunachal Pradesh and all the others residing in Arunachal Pradesh for the last 3 years or more and who have appeared/passed Class X from any of the schools within Arunachal Pradesh are eligible to appear the APJEE.

 The minimum academic qualifications for appearing the APJEE in the various courses will be as follows:

Passed or Appeared Class X or equivalent from a Govt. recognized Board.

Age limit: 15 to 18 years as on the date of admission in the particular institution to which the candidate may be nominated. 

However, the upper age limit of SC/ST candidates is relaxable by 3 (three) years. The age limits for examination and eligibility for admission will further be governed by the norms the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

    Application Form Filling Instructions

    Steps in Filling up the application form

    Step 1

    • Go to the Official site.

    Step 2

    • Please go to the new candidate registration button and complete the registration process.
    • Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.

    Step 3

    • Candidate has to fill in the above-mentioned details to receive the User ID and Password.
    • Candidate will receive the User ID on the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number. Overseas candidates will receive both User ID and Password on registered email address. 

    Step 4

    • Candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form for APJEE 2020
    • For applying to the multiple courses Single Registration is sufficient.
    • Candidates are required to fill separate Application Forms for each course of study as detailed in this Guide. However, candidates should submit a single Application Form for courses for which a combined Test is to be conducted.

    The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the APJEE 2020

    • Step-1: Students have registered for Online Application Form. Login and Password are created
    • Step-2: Student has to complete the Application Form and its various sections
    • Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Left Thumb Impression.
    • Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

    Offline Dates

    Examination Day Instructions

    • On the scheduled day of examination, candidate must report to the Examination Centre at least 30 minutes before commencement of the examination and occupy his/her seat at least 15 minutes before examination. 
    • Candidate must bring his/her own Ball Point Pen and Admit Card only at the time of examination. No other items shall be allowed inside the Examination Hall. 
    • The Admit Card must be produced on demand at the time of examination.
    • At the time of examination, candidate shall be provided with an OMR Answer Sheet along with the Test Booklet. 
    • Candidate should thoroughly read the instructions published in the Test Booklet before attempting any questions. 
    • Candidate should answer by darkening the appropriate bubble (only one) in the OMR Answer sheet with Ball Point Pen as instructed in the Test Booklet and as explained in the sample given in the Information Brochure. 
    • Possession of mobile phone, pager, calculator and other objectionable materials is not allowed inside the examination hall.
    • All the rules and regulations regarding behavior of candidates in the examination hall shall be same as that of CBSE and other Board examinations.
