• Online payment through credit card / debit card through the payment gateway.
• Payment of Entrance Test Fee in Cash through “Challan” in any branch of HDFC Bank.

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of BHU PET M.A. (IRDM) 2020.

• PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
• Qualification details
• Scanned copy of each photograph in JPG or JPEG format (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) : 100 KB)
• Scanned copy of each signature in JPG or JPEG format (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) : 100 KB
• Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
• Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
• For online payment, Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card
• Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber - cafe.
• It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

Steps in Filling up the application form:

Step 1

• Go to the Official site.  

Step 2

• Please go to the new candidate registration button and complete the registration process.
• Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.

Step 3

• Candidate has to fill Online Identification Details Form.

Step 4

• Candidate has to select course : Select course type name from the drop down boxes given at the bottom. Check the eligibility and if you are eligible click the checkbox given below regarding confirmation of the terms and conditions and the eligibility to proceed further. 

Step 5

• Candidate has to fill application form and upload required documents like scanned photograph and signature (in jpeg format).

Step 6

• Now the candidate can preview the application form and make any corrections, if required. Once done the candidate will agree to the declaration by ticking the appropriate box and submitting the form. The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you. 

• Without payment of application fees forms will be rejected.
• Any other inadequacy detected.

Before entering the Exam Centre

• Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card.
• Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
• Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
• If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
• Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
• Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
• Usually no bags are allowed.
• No eatables are allowed.
• No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager / wireless set / scanner / camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
• No Candidate will be allowed entry to the Test Hall after the start of the Entrance Test.

After entering the centre

• Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat.
• No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall / room till the end of the test.
• Calculators are not allowed.
• Smoking is a not allowed.
• Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
• Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet / cancellation of the candidature.

• The mode of availability of the admit card is online.
• Admit Card can be downloaded from the official site.
• If a candidate is unable to download the Admit Card till 03 days before the date of the Test, he / she should contact the Office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU, Varanasi on Help Desk Phone Number and email id. available on Entrance Test Portal.

Following information is provided with the admit card:

• Roll Number
• Name and place along with the address of the Exam or Test entre
• Photo to be fixed on the admit card under self attestation.
