The Prospectus including the Application Form may be obtained from the office of Bihar Institute of Law, Patna with the payment of Rs. 1100/- (including the BILAT 2020 Fee).

The candidates who obtains Form and Prospectus through College website has to attach Bank Draft or pay - in - clip in favour of Bihar Institute of Law, Patna of Rs. 1200/-.

The candidates are required to paste recent and identical colour photographs at the appropriate places in Application Form. Application Form with Xerox copies of Photograph (or the Xerox copy of  Application form) shall be rejected out rightly. 

Candidates advised to keep sufficient number of extra copies of the same photograph (at least 6 in number for future use in case the candidate is admitted).

List of documents to be attached with application form In the following order - 

• Duly filled Application form,
• Self Attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates.

Before entering the Exam Centre 

• Try to reach the exam centre one hour before commencement of the exam.
• Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
• Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
  
• No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall till the expiry of the full allotted time for the test.
• Usually no bags are allowed.
• No eatables are allowed.
• Calculator, watch calculator, electronic diary, paper, mobile phones, digital watches with memory, slide rule or any other electronic gadgets etc. are not allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
• There is no provision to provide or permit a writer / scribe at the BILAT 2020 except for blind candidates. 
• The candidates shall be checked for any resource / help material regularly and at random by the invigilator and other supervisory staff conducting the test, on the slightest doubt.

After Entering the centre

• In no case, a candidate is allowed to enter the examination hall after the exam starts.
• No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the time allotted for the respective paper.
• Candidates are not allowed to talk to each other during the examination.
• Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
• Smuggling - out or Smuggling - in of the Question Booklet - cum - OMR sheet in part or in full, or Test material, or using any resource / help material connected with the BILAT 2020.

Admit Cards will not be sent by Post, Applicant has to collect the some in person.

Selection Criteria

• The admission to LL.B. course and B.A. LL.B. course will be done strictly in order of the merit list prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the aforesaid BILAT 2020 However, every candidate must secure a minimum of 40% marks in BILAT 2020 hi order to get admission.
• In case of equal marks obtained by two or more candidates in the entrance test the candidate obtained higher marks in graduation shall be admitted. 
• In case of equal marks obtained in BILAT 2020 and Graduation marks by the two or more  candidates the candidate having higher age to be admitted on the seat.
