Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for M.Des. Entrance Test 2020 or IIT Bombay M.Des. Entrance Test 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to M.Des. (Animation Design), M.Des. (Communication Design), M.Des. (Industrial Design), M.Des. (Interaction Design) and M.Des. (Mobility and Vehicle Design). IIT Bombay M.Des. Entrance Test 2020 is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
The application forms will be available from 04/03/2020 till 15/05/2020. The exam is in written mode. It is being conducted in English language. The result date will be announced later.

IIT Bombay M.Des. Entrance Test 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility
The candidate should have a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent grades in the qualifying degree for individual streams.
The candidate should have also qualified through Common Entrance Examination for Design for 2020 (CEED 2020)
All candidates having a degree from foreign universities should submit equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi for qualifying degree and proof of having 55% or equivalent in the qualifying degree. Indian SC/ST/PwD candidates should have 50% or equivalent in the qualifying degree. Candidates should produce this certificate at the time of written test and interview, failing to this admission committee will reject the application.

Application Form Filling Instructions
- Students applying for the JIIT Bombay M.Des. Entrance Test 2020 have to fill up the application form on the official site.
- The student can submit the application only once. Multiple forms will be rejected.
- The submission is ONLINE only.

- Qualification details
- File containing your recent color photograph (jpg)
- Scanned copy of your signature (jpg)
- Scanned copy of your degree/diploma certificate (pdf) if the course is completed. If you do not have the final degree certificate, please upload the copy of the final year mark sheet, or the provisional certificate. If the course is not completed, a certificate from Principal of the college or Head of the department as per Appendix A should be uploaded
- Upload a scanned copy of your Higher Secondary Certificate (pdf).
- Upload a scanned copy of your Birth Certificate, or Proof of date of birth (Passport, school leaving certificate or Class 10 certificate ) (pdf)
- Upload the scanned Experience Certificate if applicable (pdf).
- Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
- For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net Banking facility.
- Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-cafe.
- It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.
The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the IIT Bombay M.Des. Entrance Test 2020
- Step-1: Students have to register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created.
- Step-2: Student has to complete the Application Form and its various sections
- Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Left Thumb Impression.
- Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking
