National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test For Under Graduate Programmes 2020 or NEET UG 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. (Animal Husbandry), BAMS, BHMS and other courses. NEET UG 2020 is conducted by National Testing Agency.
NEET UG for the year 2020 has been announced by National Testing Agency and will be held on 13/09/2020. The application forms will be available from 02/12/2019 till 06/01/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. It is being conducted in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujrati, Bengali, Assamese, Urdu, Oriya, Marathi and Kannada languages. Admit card will be available from 26/08/2020. Result is expected to be announced on 16/10/2020.
The minimum Academic Qualifications for NEET UG 2020 required are that students should have passed or are appearing in class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
The subjects required for eligibility are Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English
The qualifying Marks in Class 12 for each category are as follows:
1. General Category/Gen-EWS 50%
2. OBC/SC/ST 40%
3. Persons with Disability 45%
• The student should be 17 years of age by December 31, 2020 to be eligible to take the NEET UG 2020 Exam.
• There is no upper age limit for NEET UG 2020.
There is no restrictions on number of attempts for NEET UG 2020 Exam.
In NEET UG 2020 exam, the following people of nationalities can apply:
1. Indian Nationals
2. NRIs
3. OCIs
4. PIOs
Students who have studied overseas and want admission to MBBS Course in medical colleges in India must have cleared Chemistry, Physics, English and Biology/Biotechnology with 50% marks in Class XII.
The equivalency is determined by the Association of Indian Universities

Punishment for using unfairmeans practices
During the course of, before or after the examination if a candidate indulges in any of the above or similar practices, he / she shall be deemed to have used unfair practices and booked under UNFAIRMEANS (U.F.M.) case. The candidate would be debarred for 3 years in future and shall also be liable for criminal action and / or any other action as deemed fit.
Cancellation of Result:
The result of the candidates NEET (UG) - 2020 who indulge in Unfair means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared.
Similarly, the result of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them, write on the Test booklet / OMR Sheet of other candidates or allow other candidates to write on their Test Booklet / OMR Sheet will be cancelled and will not be declared.

Summary of NEET counselling 2020
On the basis of merit list prepared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will carry out counselling for admission to 15 percent AIQ, all deemed/central colleges, ESIC and AFMS institutes, AIIMS and also JIPMER establishments.
