Symbiosis Law Admission Test 2020 or SLAT 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), BBA LL.B. (Hons.), B.A. LL.B. (Integrated) and BBA LL.B. (Integrated). SLAT 2020 is conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University.

The application forms will be available from 22/01/2020 till 20/05/2020. The exam is in online mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. The result date will be announced later.

    • Candidate should note that SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE 2020 is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its subsequent independent selection process.
    • A candidate may take more than one paper. However, he/she will have to choose and register for one paper from the morning session (SLAT / SEED) and / or one paper from the afternoon session (SET / SITEEE).
    • Note: - No change of test city requests will be entertained once candidate has completed payment for SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2020.

    Modes of payment

    The candidate may pay through –

    • Billdesk Payment Gateway
    • Easebuzz Payment Gateway
    • Indian Bank Payment Gateway
    • Demand Draft.

    The entrance test registration fee for SLAT / SEED / SET- General is Rs. 1750/-. (Non-refundable and  non-transferable).

    In addition to that you are also expected to pay the programme registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for each  programme.(Non-refundable and non-transferable)

    If you wish to take a test in the morning as well as afternoon session you will have to pay the entrance  test registration fee for both session.

    • You may register for one paper in the morning session (for example, SET - Law (SLAT) or SET Design (SEED), and/or one paper in the afternoon session (for example, SET - General (SET) or SET - Engineering (SITEEE).
    • Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration. (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).
    • Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate.

    Payment Through Demand Draft :
    Submit a Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. 

    Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at:

    Examination Day Instructions

    • Please ensure that your latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test (Your photograph should not be more than  3 months old).
    • Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following:
      • Passport.
      • Driving license.
      • Voter ID Card.
      • Pan Card
      • AADHAR Card (UID)
    • An authorized person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photoid on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further PIWAT or ST-PI processes.
    • Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Authenticated Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.
    • Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators/ memory or any electronic or smart devices are not be allowed in the examination hall.
    • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the hall till 10.30 a.m. (for the morning session exam) and 03:30 p.m. (for the afternoon session exam). After submission of the test, candidate will not be allowed to re-enter the test hall.
    • Candidates are advised to locate allocated test center at least a day in advance to avoid any issue on the day of the test.
    • Note: No extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre. 

    More Information

    • The Test Centre and its address will be printed on the Admit Card. (Admit card will be live on website from April 22, 2020 to May 02, 2020)
    • SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2020 Admit Card should be printed (color printouts only. B & W printouts will not be accepted) from the SET website which will be available from Wednesday, April 22, 2020, till Saturday, May 02, 2020
    • If candidate has selected both the sessions (morning and afternoon) they should carry two different Admit Cards - one is for morning session and second is for afternoon session.
    • For the Morning Session (SLAT & SEED) reach the test centre latest by 7.30 a.m to allow for sufficient time for biometric data capture at the test centre. The test will start at 9.30 a.m. After 
    • 09.45 a.m., no candidate will be allowed to appear for the Morning Session Exams. Note that no extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre. 
    • For the Afternoon Session (SET & SITEEE) reach the test centre latest by 12:30 p.m to allow for sufficient time for biometric data capture at the test centre.. The test will start at 2:30 p.m. 
    • After 02.45 p.m., no candidate will be allowed to appear for the Afternoon Session Exams. Note that no extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre.
    • Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Authenticated Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.
