Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 or Tripura TET 2021 is the entrance examination for admission to TET. Tripura TET 2021 is conducted by Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura.

Tripura TET for the year 2021 has been announced by Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura and will be held from 26/09/2021 to 03/10/2021. The application forms will be available from 10/03/2021 till 31/03/2021. The exam is in written mode. It is being conducted in English language. Admit card will be available from 07/09/2021. The result date will be announced later.

Tripura TET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for T - TET Paper - I (for persons intended to be a teacher of classes I - V) :

Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications for T-TET Paper - I :

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name known, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
  • Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50 % marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).(Further, a candidate having B. Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution with 50% marks in Graduation shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.)

Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH. 

Eligibility for T - TET Paper - II (for persons intended to be a teacher of classes VI - VIII) :

Candidates should possess the following prescribed qualifications for T - TET Paper - II :

  • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known. OR
  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed / B. Sc. Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) (Special Education).

Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH. 

Note:

  • Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education (B. Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed)etc., are provisionally allowed to appear in T-TET ( Paper I & II).
  • Provisionally admitted candidates should have successfully completed the course in the current academic year itself and should produce Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education Certificate/Mark sheet during Certificate Verification, otherwise, T-TET certificate will not be issued to them and their candidature will be cancelled.

 Essential Minimum Qualification for Graduate Teacher (For Class : IX - X) 

  • Graduate/Post Graduate from recognised university with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution. OR
  • Graduate/Post Graduate from recognised university with at least 45% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution {in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to star new course or training). Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007}. OR
  • 4 years degree of B. A. Ed. / B.Sc. ED. from any National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution.

Note:

  • Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category.
  • Degree Course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.

Essential Minimum Qualification for Post Graduate Teacher (For Class : Xi - xii) :

  • Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognised university and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from a NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognised institution. OR
  • Post Graduate degree with 45% marks in relevant subject and obtained B.Ed degree (as per NCTE Regulations, 2002 or NCTE Regulations, 2007) from NCTE recognized Institutions. OR
  • Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognised university and B. A. Ed. /B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education ) recognised institution.

Note:

  • Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category.
  • Degree Course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.

Age : There is no age limit.

    Tripura TET 2021 Application Form

    Application Form Filling Instructions

    While applying online the candidate must ensure that she / he understands and fulfils the norms of eligibility. Before applying online please ensure to have the following for uploading:

    • Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate (In JPG / JPEG format only, Size: up to 100 KB).
    • Scanned image of full signature of candidate (In JPG / JPEG format only, Size: up to 60 KB).

    Notes:

    • It must be ensured that image of the photograph and full signature of the candidate for uploading must be clear or else your candidature will be summarily cancelled without further notification.
    • Admit Card will not be generated if any irrelevancy is noticed in image of the photograph and full signature of the candidate.
    • Uploading of any irrelevant photograph / signature will invite cancellation of candidature and appropriate action.
    • Online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura, www.trb.tripura.gov.in and by no other means.

    Follow the steps given below:

    • Log on to TRBT’s official website and click on ‘Apply Online’ link. You will be directed to the registration pa
    • Candidates are to enter the required information such as name, DOB, email ID, Phone Number etc., and get themselves registered. Note down the Registration Number for future reference.
    • For registration, e-mail ID must be unique. Once registered, login with Registration Number/E-mail ID and password as set by you. For security reason do not share the password with others.
    • If a candidate has registered during or after T-TET 2019, fresh registration will not be required. Login with USER ID and Password. However, if there any wrong entry, fresh registration can be done by using another e-mail ID of the applicant.
    • After login update your profile by entering all relevant information as per the online application form correctly.
    • Upload clear image of your recent passport size photograph (as enumerated in ‘How to apply’ section in the registration page) and full signature. The image of photograph must be clear enough so that the applicant can be recognised by seeing the photograph. The image of full signature must also be clear and legible. Any discrepancy in image of photograph and full signature will lead to rejection of the online application. Uploading of any unwanted photograph will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken against them who indulge in such activity.
    • Candidate can update certain information given in the profile from edit/update profile link before submission of online application. Online application once submitted the link will be disabled. No edit in profile can be done afterwards.
    • Candidate can apply for T-TET-2021 Paper-I and/or T-TET-2021 Paper-II from ‘Apply Online’ link of candidate’s homepage.
    • Click on ‘Apply Online’ link (in candidate’s homepage) for T-TET-2021 Paper-I and / or T-TET-2021 Paper-II as applicable. Select eligibility criteria from drop down list. All particulars regarding academic and professional qualifications must be entered correctly.
    • Choose Language – II (Second Language), either “Bengali” or “Kokborok” for both T-TET-2021 Papers-I and TTET-2021 Paper-II. Language once chosen cannot be changed.
    • Choose Subject, either “Social Studies” or “Mathematics and Science” for T-TET-2021 Paper-II only. Subject once chosen cannot be changed.
    • Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the application if all information is entered correctly. If any rectification is required click on “Edit Application” link in candidate’s homepage. Once finalised the application form can no more be edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered are correct.
    • Application must be finalized within the stipulated date and time.
    • Make payment from the link provided in the home page of applicant. Payment can be done through Credit Card/
    • Debit Card/ Internet Banking facility of any leading bank. Information/PIN/Password etc., of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking must not be shared with others for making payment. TRBT or Concerned Institutions will not be responsible for any fraudulent transaction due to such information sharing. Payment of fee must be done within the stipulated date and time through the link provided in applicant’s home page and by no other means.
    • After successful payment print the Acknowledgement Page and preserve it for future reference.
    • Please take a printout of payment slip after making payment for future reference. Without payment slip no payment related query/ complaint will be entertained.
    • Candidates having their mark in CGPA, click on “check if CGPA is applicable” and enter exact equivalent percent of CGPA. Convert CGPA in exact equivalent percentage (as per formula given by the University/ Board) up to two decimal points and enter it in the appropriate box in the online application form. For example if the equivalent percentage of CGPA up to 2 decimal point is “59.99” enter “59.99” not “60”.
    • Candidates having their mark in CGPA, click on “check if CGPA is applicable” and enter exact equivalent percent of CGPA. Convert CGPA in exact equivalent percentage (as per formula given by the University/ Board) up to two decimal points and enter it in the appropriate box in the online application form. For example if the equivalent percentage of CGPA up to 2 decimal point is “59.99” enter “59.99” not “60”.
    • In case candidates are applying with Senior Secondary as academic qualification and do not possess Graduation,
    • leave the qualification detail in the online application format with respect to Graduation. Candidates applying for TTET paper-II with graduation having no post-graduation are instructed to leave the qualification detail of postgraduation in the online application format.
    • Please read the “How to apply” Section in the registration page before proceeding for registration.
    • “Forgot Password” link can be used to reset password in case the candidate forgets her/his password by entering all required field correctly. 

    Tripura TET 2021 Syllabus

    Question Pattern:

    Question Paper (T-TET Paper-I & T-TET Paper-II) will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 1 (one) mark each in the subjects under the relevant papers. Candidates have to shade/darken the right choice of answer among the four options. Each right answer will be awarded one mark. There will be no negative marking. Question papers will be in English and Bengali only (other than language Papers). All OMR Answer Sheets for marking answers and instructions etc. will be in English only. In case of any discrepancy or confusion concerning the two versions of question papers, the English version will be treated as the authentic/final.

    Examination Day Instructions

    IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO TEST :

    • A seat indicating roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates should find and occupy their allotted seats only. Any candidate found to have changed the room or the seat on her/his own other than allotted, her/his candidature shall be cancelled and no plea would be accepted for it.
    • Candidate must produce Admit Card downloaded from TRBT official website and photo identity card for admission into the test room. A candidate who does not possess valid Admit Card and one photo identity card (in original), as mentioned in the point number 12, shall not be permitted to appear in the test under any circumstances.
    • Fifteen minutes before the commencement of the test, each candidate will be given OMR Answer Sheet and sealed Question Booklet.
    • Five minutes before the commencement of the test the candidates will be instructed by the invigilator to break/open the seal of the Question Booklet.
    • After breaking the seal of Question Booklet the candidate must check that the Question Booklet contains the same number of pages as mentioned on the first page. In case of any discrepancy in Question Booklet; such as, page missing, tear page or misprinting, the same should be informed to the invigilator immediately for replacement of Question Booklet of the same series.
    • OMR Answer Sheet supplied to the candidates can’t be changed in case of improper use by the candidate under any circumstances. However any defective OMR Answer Sheet can be changed if it is brought to the notice of invigilator before use of the same by the candidate.
    • The test will start exactly at the scheduled time and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
    • A candidate who comes after the commencement of the test shall not be permitted to appear in the test.
    • During the test, invigilator will check Admit Card of all candidates. The invigilator will also put her/his signatures on OMR Answer Sheet and on Question Booklet.
    • Candidates are instructed to write Question Booklet series and number and OMR Answer Sheets number on the attendance sheet. Candidates are also required to fill in all the fields of the OMR Answer Sheet completely. 

    Admission into the Test Room: 

    The candidates shall be present in the test center 90 minutes before, and take their respective seats in the test room 30 minutes before the schedule time of the commencement of test positively. The candidates are also instructed to read the instructions given in the Admit Card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the test. Candidates are required to produce the Admit Card (T-TET 2021) issued by the Board along with one photo bearing identity card, such as: AADHAAR Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License / Voter ID Card etc. to the Officer-in-Charge / Center Superintendent / Invigilator of the test center for admission into the test room. Photocopy of the ID proof can’t be accepted as valid ID proof.

    Procedure to be Followed During Conduct of Test:

    Candidates are instructed to put their full signature at the appropriate places of the Question Booklet and OMR Answer Sheet. Candidates must sign twice in the Attendance Sheet. Firstly, during the commencement of the test and secondly, while handing over the OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator on completion of the test hours. The following points are to be noted carefully during commencement of test:

    • Immediately on receipt of the Question Booklet the candidates will fill in the required particulars on the cover page of the Question Booklet with Black Ball Point Pen.
    • Candidates should not open/break the seal of the Question Booklet unless they are instructed.
    • Candidates are not allowed to carry items like textual material (printed or hand-written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, hand/carry bags, calculator, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, electronic pen/scanner, cardboard or any electronic item which can be used for communication devices inside the test venue.
    • Tea, coffees, cold drinks, smoking, chewing gutka, spiting etc. in the test room/center is strictly prohibited.
    • After completing the test and before handing over OMR Answer Sheet, the candidate should check again that all the particulars required in OMR Answer Sheet have been filled in correctly. The announcement about beginning and closing of test will be made by the invigilator. The candidate must stop marking their responses immediately at the closing announcement.
    • Candidates will not be allowed to leave her/his seat or test room until duration of the test is over without the special permission from the concerned authority.
    • Candidates should not leave the test room without handing over their Answer Sheets to the Invigilator on duty and sign the attendance sheet for the second time. Cases where a candidate has not put her/his signature in the Attendance Sheet for the second time will be deemed not to have handed over the OMR Answer Sheet and be treated as unfair means.
    • Candidates are permitted to carry the respective Question Booklet at the end of the test hours.

    Black Ball Point Pen:

    Candidates are instructed to use ‘Black Ball Point Pen’ for writing / darkening / shading. Before writing / darkening / shading the particulars or responses of Question Booklet and OMR Answer Sheet, candidate must check about the details as noted in the downloaded valid Admit Card and ensure that her / his responses are as per record of the respective Admit Card.

    Changing an Answer is not Allowed:

    The candidate must fully satisfy themselves about the accuracy of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle, once marked no change in answer is allowed. Use of eraser or correction fluid on OMR Answer Sheet is strictly prohibited as OMR Answer Sheets are machine gradable and it may lead to wrong evaluation for which responsibility lies on the candidate.

    Rough Work:

    The candidates are not allowed to practice any rough work on OMR Answer Sheet. Rough work is to be practiced on the space provided along with the Question Booklet.

    Unfair Means:

    Candidates shall maintain proper silence inside the test room. Any conversation or gesticulation or disturbance in the test room shall be deemed as misbehaviour. If a candidate is found using unfair means or impersonating, she/he will be expelled immediately by the center Superintendent/Officer in Charge of the test and she/he will be liable to be debarred for taking test either permanently or for a specified period as per decision of the Board. Some instances of unfair means are as follows:

    • If any candidate is in possession of any item(s) as mentioned in the point number 14 (c) of this Prospectus-cumInstructions.
    • If a candidate removes any page(s) from the Question Booklet during the test.
    • If a candidate carries Question Booklet or a part of it outside the test room during test hours before the submission of OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator or any authorized person.
    • If a candidate submits to an invigilator or any other authorized test official, Question Booklet or OMR Answer Sheet wilfully mutilated by her/him.
    • If a candidate leaves the test room before the expiry of scheduled time of the test.
    • Anything which is detrimental for smooth conduct of test.
