How is Cbse Board checking done?

To evaluate any answer booklet the board first prepares a marking scheme for every answer in all subjects. These marking schemes usually tell what are the key points a student should have written in his or her answer and what marks should be awarded for each point they have covered. These answer schemes are prepared by experienced teachers and paper setters and approved by the head examiner. Then expert teachers from CBSE schools are called upon to check the answer scripts. Teachers check papers of their subject expertise as per the answer key provided to them. The identity of the students is not disclosed to the teacher checking the answer scripts to avoid any biases.
