Students applying for the admissions have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected.

Eligibility:
The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
Admission through CET:
Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super numerary quota seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision. Admission through COMED-K:
Consortium of the managements of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both, Karnataka & Non Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test. For more details, log on to the website: www.comedk.org during January/February.
Admission through management quota:
25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year. Students can approach the Admission Office (in the campus) directly in person for queries or can mail us on admissions@nmit.ac.in
Admission through SNQ quota for FN / PIO / NRI / students whose parents work in Gulf countries:
AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals / PIO / NRI / students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake. For more details can log on to www. nmit.ac.in and can mail to: admissions@nmit.ac.in
