A practicing Career Counselor for the last 21 years, Ms Jyoti Gupta, has a vast experience in guidance and counseling, psychometric testing, clinical and community interventions and assessment, diagnostic processing, organisation design and human resource development. She regularly conducts workshops at different schools on career counseling as well as conducts career counseling programs in many schools of the region.
She is a practicing Clinical Psychologist in a clinical setup working with Autistic, Cerebral Palsy and Mentally Challenged children. She is providing psychotherapy like relaxation therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, behavior therapy, emotional and social therapy, art therapy, play therapy etc for children with all sorts of mental disorders.
Ms Jyoti is also practicing Mindfulness and creating guided programs, for teachers, corporate, bureaucrats, parents, students, and special parents. She is practicing and imparting Mindfulness based psychotherapy as a tool for stress reduction.
She has conducted workshops on autism, learning disability, intellectual disability, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as behavioural and emotional problems. She also conduct workshops on parenting, career counseling, motivation and personality development, sensitization of teachers towards classroom teaching and psychological problems among kids and adults.
She has conducted workshops on education and learning for centre for adults’ continuing education at extension, Punjab University. She is running a continuous program at Society for Rehabilitation of Mentally Challenged, Chandigarh (a rehabilitation center) for special children on mindfulness based psychotherapy.
