About Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical Stream) (Aeroplane)

It is basically a four year Aeronautical Engineering course in which the aircraft maintenance engineers (AME) are responsible for safety, security and maintenance of aircrafts. To get admission in top most government regulated Aircraft Maintenance engineering institutions in India, aspirants have to qualify the AME CET entrance exam that is a national level exam for admission in AM engineering. It is basically a training program that deals with the fundamentals of propulsion, electronics, theory of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics etc. Once a student completes the two years basic training and two years training in flying aircrafts, the candidate will be issued a license by Directorate General of Civil aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India.

About B.Tech. (Applied Mechanics)

In India, Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) is a professional engineering undergraduate degree awarded after completion of four years of academic study in engineering field. It is offered in many disciplines. Some universities in India offer Bachelor of Technology instead of Bachelor of Engineering for the same Engineering courses but the difference between the two is that B.Tech is skill oriented course and is mostly based on practical and application based research.

The Master's programme in Applied Computational Mechanics is aimed at trained engineers and scientists looking to take on responsibility in applied research, development and management. It is usually a two years’ program and enables students on this programme to acquire and consolidate practical knowledge in all Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) disciplines.The study involves learning about the development of innovative products and technologies with modern approaches and instruments with the help of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) technology in development cycles in many fields of industry and research.
