Admission Registration

Application Fee : Rs. 500 /- (excluding bank transaction service charges)

Students applying for the admissions have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected. 

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form :

  • PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity.
  • Qualification details.
  • Functional e - mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended. 
  • For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net Banking facility is a must.
  • Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
  • Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber - cafe. 
  • It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form o: 

  • Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created. 
  • Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections. 
  • Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Left Thumb Impression. 
  • Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

Admission Details


Admission Information

The minimum educational qualifications required for admissions are passed 12th from a recognized board.

  • Admission shall be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination (12th or equivalent). Allotment of Honours subject shall also be made on the basis of aggregate scores in the qualifying examination without extra optional, if any.
  • Admission to the university cannot be claimed as a matter of right, and may be refused by the authority without citing any reason thereof. The decision of the Admission Committee in matters of admission shall be final and binding. 
  • Non participation in counseling for admission shall lead to cancellation of admission.
  • After a candidate is admitted into an Honours subject, she/he has to register for two elective/ s (one in the 1st Year and the other in the second year) subject to availability of seats and candidates choice in these elective subjects on the basis op a first come – first served basis. Each department has an upper limit of the number of seats available, which is listed in this section. 
  • In case of a tie, the percentage of marks secured in English will determine the precedence. If there is a tie even after this, the percentage of marks in MIL will determine the precedence.

Documents for admission

Documents required at the time of admissions:

  • Aadhar Card (without Aadhar card a candidate shall not be admitted into the university).
  • Print out of the application form (printed application form after online submission) with a recent  passport size photograph affixed on it. 
  • Certificate of High School Examination or equivalent in support of age
  • Mark Sheet and Certificate of Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent
  • School or College Leaving Certificate
  • Migration Certificate, if any
  • Certificate(s) in support of claim for Reservation, Weightage and domicile, if any.
  • For Ex-service men and family members category, Discharge Certificate in original.
  • Blood Group Certificate 
  • Four recent stamp size photographs
  • Affidavit form (available in the website) duly filled in
  • The photocopies of all documents should be signed by the candidate as proof of self-attestation  is to be submitted
