Eligibility: Subject to its compliance with the provisions of this bye – law the applicant for securing admission to the First B.Sc. Nursing Course shall be governed by the provisions of Bye - law as under:- i) shall be an Indian National and has completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of his / her admission to the College; ii) has passed the (10+2) Higher Secondary Schools Certificate Examination or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto; OR has passed an examination equivalent to the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) of any recognized Board / University situated in India; OR has passed Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination; OR has passed an Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination; OR has passed examination from any School / College situated abroad, as equivalent thereto shall submit equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. iii) Applicants, seeking admission to the First B. Sc Nursing Course shall have passed the H.S.C. or an equivalent examination thereto, comprising an aggregate of 45 % in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Provided that school/college from outside Maharashtra State is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or the Council of Boards of School Examinations in India shall be eligible for admission to the First B. Sc Nursing with fulfilling the conditions of subjects and of passing with 45% in the individual subject (4 iii) as above. And Provided that the candidate names are included in the Merit List, prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by him/her in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the CET, conducted by the University. Student shall have attended a regular course of study for four years and appears and passes in the examination from First B.Sc. Nursing to Final B.
