Admission 2024 for B.Sc. (Nursing)

Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of April and ends in the month of September. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:

Registration and Application

Interested candidates can apply Both (Online and Offline), by filling up the required form and submitting online or offline as required.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum educational qualification shall be higher secondary examination (10+2) or an equivalent Examination with biology, physics, chemistry& English passed with minimum 50% aggregate (PCBE) form the Board of Secondary education, M.P. or any other recognized board. The candidate shall take care to write complete & correct correspondence address with PIN in application form. The college will not be responsible for loss in any transit. The change of address should be promptly reported to the college timely in written. Incomplete application will be rejected. The college does not take any responsibilities for postal delay/losses if application form is requested by post. The proof of proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt in case of delay. If any certificates are in a language other then English or Hindi ,the candidates are strongly advised to also send an English translation of the candidates are strongly advised to also send an English translation of the same duly attested by gazetted officer. Selection process for B.Sc. (N) shall be made on the basis of merit of 10+2 PCBE. In case of equal marks/merit , candidate with higher marks in biology will be given preference. The selection of the candidates for M.Sc. Nursing shall be made on the basis of merit list in the entrance examination candidate in SDNC . In case of equal marks/ merit, candidate with higher experience year wise will be given preference. in case of equal experience candidates older in age will be given preference. English medium teaching is compulsory hence the candidate can be asked for spoken/writing test at the of admission if required. In case an examination is conducted the date, time, venue pattern etc. will be intimated to the applicant. The candidate’s selection & eligibility will be confirmed by Barkatullah University, Bhopal. In case of non eligibility candidate will be terminate at anytime. If a candidate is found to have furnished false information or certificate etc or to have concealed any information needed in his/her application,his/her candidature for admission & selection will be cancelled. He she shall be removed from college roll and fee deposited by his/her shall be fortified. The selected candidate list will be displayed on college notice board. The selected candidate shall be present on the date given; otherwise seat will be issued to the next student in waiting list. The selected candidate shall produce original documents required for the verification. It will be returned only after completion of the course. The candidate from any other board than M.P. Board and Barkatullah University Bhopal has to submit migration certificate on date of joining. Student from foreign countries shall produce NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE issued by the Government of India. Obtaining NOC is the responsibility of the candidate. If a selected candidate does not obtain a NOC, the provisional offer of admission shall lapse. The candidate are reminded to obtain student/provisional student visa to study at the SDNC, Bhopal. The candidate shall submit 3 copies of attested photocopies of relevant documents & 12-passport size photograph at the time of admission. The waiting list is based on ranking in the final selection procedure. If a candidate withdraws admission due to any reason, the next candidate in the waiting list will fill the seat. The selected candidate are required to submit MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE from Registered Medical Practitioner. The Government of India requires that all-foreign students admitted for course of study in the country should be screened for HIV infection. This will be done during the selection medical check up. Any candidate found to have as positive serological test for HIV will not be admitted. The decision of the governing council shall be final in the matter of selection of the candidate for admission. Candidate who accept the offer selection and join the course will be expected to complete whole training period. If any candidate fail to do that will be required to pay fees payable for remaining period . Fees once paid will not be refunded. If due to any extra ordinary circumstances, a candidate is forced to discontinue, the desire to withdraw should be notified to the Principal in writing on or before the specified dates above. Candidate who accept the offer selection and join the B.Sc. Nursing course shall be required tom sign a service bond with college at that time. Candidate must join the classes on the due date on which classes commence, or as mentioned in the call letter or information given by any other mean suitable. The rules are subject to change in accordance with the decision of institution taken from time to time.
