Army Institute of Law Entrance Exam: Exam details
Army Institute of Law Entrance Exam or AIL LET is the Entrance Test conducted by Army Institute of Law, Mohali (AIL) for admissions to BA LLB course of five years duration. The exam is conducted in online mode for a duration of 2 hours. Through AIL LET, as many as 80 BA LLB seats are offered including a quota for wards of Army Personnel. This is an institute level exam conducted in 32 test cities across India.

Army Institute of Law Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB course at the law institute should fulfil the eligibility criteria as under:
- Candidates passed or appearing in Class 12th or equivalent examination from any state or national board of education in India.
- Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates who have completed their qualifying exam from open university are not eligible for admission to the law course.
- Candidates who are clearing Class 12th compartment papers are not eligible for admission.
Army Institute of Law Entrance Exam Details
- The Exam is conducted online.
- Duration of the exam is 120 minutes
- The type of questions are multiple-choice questions
- The test language is english only
- Test cities number 32 exam in total across India
- There are four Subjects
- Total marks allocated are 200 marks
- Total questions asked are 200 MCQs
- There are four sections of the question paper comprising Mental Ability, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Law Aptitude and General English.
- Each section has 50 questions
- Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct attempt.
- No marks will be deducted in case of wrong attempts.
- Only correct answers will contribute to the overall scores of the candidates.
Army Institute of Law Entrance Exam Counselling Details
After results for Law Entrance Test are declared candidates who make it to the merit list appear for the counselling rounds as per the schedule shared by Army Institute of Law.
The result is out usually one week after the exam is over and AIL LET 2024 counselling round is usually conducted in two weeks after the law entrance exam is conducted.
