An All India Merit List shall be prepared on the basis of All India Rank in the Merit List of the qualified NEET UG Exam candidates. Students shall be admitted to Undergraduate Medical Courses from the merit list, with the existing reservation policy. All India Rank shall be provided to candidates. This Merit list will be used by all the Admitting Authorities of India for Counseling.
Various Admitting Authorities for MBBS admissions in India for the year 2023 includes :
1. Admission to 15% All India Quota, shall be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
2. Admission in State Medical Colleges/Universities/Institutions/private medical colleges for seats other than 15% All India Quota shall be conducted by the respective state-authorized counseling bodies.
3. Admission to AIIMS/JIPMER/Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of ESIC and AFMC including BHU/AMU and Delhi University shall be conducted by MCC.
4. Admission to AFMC, Pune needs the candidates who apply for NEET (UG) - 2023 and also need to apply to AFMC on www.afmc.nic.in/www.afmcdg1d.gov.in.

7. MCC or Medical Counseling Committee for BHU (Banaras Hindu University) in India for admission to MBBS seats
8. MCC or Medical Counseling Committee for AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) in India for admission to MBBS seats
9. State Counseling agencies for admission to state private colleges for management quota seats.

There is one entrance exam in India for MBBS admission 2023 i.e. NEET UG exam

Dental Admission in India
The same process of admission is applied to BDS admissions in India as for MBBS admissions in India as it is a combined admission process for MBBS and BDS in India. There are no separate forms to be filled up for BDS admission in India; forms meant for MBBS are also used for admission of dental admission in India
AYUSH Admissions in India
One needs to qualify in NEET UG 2023 exams to become eligible to apply for AYUSH courses admissions. These admissions are for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homeopathy Colleges.
After the result of NEET 2023 is out, the student will apply to the ministry of AYUSH web site as well as designated state counseling bodies.
