The written exam will be held on September 14, 2025, followed by the SSB interview and medical examination.
NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Admit Card
UPSC is set to conduct the offline examination across various centres in Indiaon Sunday, September 14. This year, UPSC released the admit card for the exam on September 4, 2025.
You can download your e-admit card for the exam from upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in—the official UPSC websites. You have to log in, using your date of birth, roll number or registration number and the captcha code provided. Without the admit card, you will be denied an entry into the exam hall. Thus, it is one of the most vital documents that you must mandatorily carry to the examination centre.
NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Schedule and Timing
The exam will be held on September 14, 2025 in two sessions:
Mathematics Paper: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
General Ability Test (GAT): 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
You have to sit for both sessions compulsorily. Before the exam begins, you have to report to your respective centre ahead of time.
NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for NDA and NA II 2025, you have to satisfy certain eligibility requirements.
· You should be an Indian citizen.
· You must be unmarried. The exam allows female candidates.
· You must be born between January 2, 2005, and January 1, 2008.
· There are different educational qualification requirements for aspirants. You must have passed or appeared in Class 12 exams or equivalent for the Army Wing. If you wish to enter the Indian Air Force, Navy, and Naval Academy, you need to have passed or appeared in Class 12 exams with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Examination Pattern
As always, the NDA and NA II 2025 exam will be held in offline mode. The structure for this pen-and-paper exam is as follows:
Mathematics: This 2.5-hour exam is set to have a total of 300 marks.
General Ability Test (GAT): A total of 600 marks is allotted to this 2.5-hour exam.
The two exams carry a total of 900 marks, together. Upon clearing the written test successfully, you will be able to proceed to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which also carries 900 marks.
The question papers will be available in both English and Hindi. There will be objective-type questions, and the metric system of measures and weights will be used. You cannot use any scribe facility or use mathematical tables, log tables and calculators.
NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Syllabus Overview
The syllabus for this exam is designed in such a way as to test a mix of your academic knowledge, general awareness, andanalytical ability. The mathematics exam is based on Class 11 and 12 topics, including:

The General Ability Test (GAT) is based on:
· English: Vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and usage.

NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Selection Procedure
There are 3 stages in the selection process for NDA and NA II 2025, including:
Written Examination: You have to qualify for both Mathematics and GAT papers.
SSB Interview: This will be taken over the course of a few days. It will test your personality, intelligence, leadership skills, and whether you are suited for a military career.
Medical Examination: Your fitness for rigorous military training will be tested as per the necessary physical and medical standards.
NDA and NA II Exam 2025: Important Instructions for Candidates
· Download your exam admit card early on and carefully go through all the details. Immediately report to the UPSC any discrepancies that catch your eye.
· Carry along your admit card printout and a valid photo ID to the examination centre.
