GNIMS, abbreviated for Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies, was founded in 2002. It offers part-time management programmes that appeal to working executives and full-time management courses in other fields. The mentorship system at GNIMS distinguishes itself as students benefit from one-on-one engagement with their lecturers and receive the appropriate assistance and direction to aid their success. The fact that the institute cares about its students can be evident in the fact that they provide a variety of programmes to help students from a vernacular background enhance their English language skills. There is also a lot of focus on project-based learning as a vital tool for management education. The aim is to be a leading business school for innovative & entrepreneurial teaching, research & collaboration approaches. The vision consists of Excellence, Creativity & Innovation, Customer Focus, Continuous Learning, Discipline & Mutual Respect, Ethical Practices, Result Orientation and an excellent level of communication.
Highlights of the programme
The post-graduate Certificate in Sports Management & Entrepreneurship at GNIMS Business School is truly one of a kind, with a focus on skill-based training, outcome-driven evaluations, 360-degree competency building, and an industry-relevant framework to prepare you for the gig-economy sports era, which is very new in the country and has been inspired by the curriculum of foreign countries.
One of the best things about this course is that it is just one year programme which is neither too long nor too short for students and also this programme operates in a hybrid mode so students do not always have to come to the college to attend classes which will also give them extra time to pursue something else or work on themselves simultaneously. The course also has a unique Interactive Workshop Methodology, which is the first-ever in Mumbai and also, students can create their league, which will be IP owned and managed by the students themselves.
Teaching Methodology
