NEET is the common entrance exam which is conducted for the admission to MBBS courses and other medical courses all over India. The increase in the number of students raises the competition every year and makes it difficult to crack NEET with a good rank to secure a seat in the government medical college of India. For those who are going to attempt the NEET exam for the first time, the pressure becomes double.
Here are a few tips through which you can crack the NEET exam in the first attempt.
1. Plan a study schedule to complete the NEET syllabus within time
Planning the study schedule is the best thing you can do to complete your studies. The advantage is that you can complete the next task as well which has been planned in your schedule if you have completed the first task. Moreover, it can motivate you very well.
2. Cover all the chapters
In the NEET exam, the question can be asked from any topic or chapter. Therefore, it is very important to complete all the topics as sometimes an easy question can come from the topic which you find unimportant or difficult to read. While studying a difficult chapter, don’t cram it or dont hurry to complete the chapter once. Study daily and try to understand every topic of it, so that it will be completed on time and perfectly.
3. Refer coaching modules and refer NCERT books
Try to read the NCERT textbooks line by line. Solved examples, exercises, summary, everything in NCERT are important for NEET. Observe and practice to draw all the NCERT diagrams of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A few questions might come from outside of NCERT in NEET, those have to be covered by your coaching material and reference books.
4. Revise daily and make revision notes for last-minute revision
Revision slots should be fixed in your NEET schedule. Along with the theory, solve problems to revise effectively. Prepare short notes for the NEET which you can revise before the exam. Make flow charts, diagrams, tables, posters, post-its, etc. and stick them wherever possible like in your bulletin board or wall and have a glance at them repeatedly.
5. Join coaching to enhance your chances of cracking the NEET exam
Join coaching if you haven’t joined yet. Coaching is the best place to expose yourself and correct your errors. It will help you in staying confident to crack NEET in the first attempt.
6. Attend all classes and complete your homework/ assignments on time
Be regular with your coaching classes. Every day the teacher can teach you some key lessons and tricks. Don’t neglect what’s happening currently in your coaching in order to cover previous concepts or backlogs. Your first priority should be to finish your current assignments and homework on time.
The most important thing is to believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself then you can easily achieve your goal.
