In a major hit to SC and ST students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday expanded expenses of Class 10 and 12 board assessments from Rs 50 to Rs 1,200. The expenses for general classification understudies also have gone up from Rs 750 to Rs 1,500.
It was announced that under the reconsidered standards, SC and ST understudies should pay Rs 1,200 for five subjects in contrast with Rs 50 that they paid previously. Understudies showing up for Class 10 board tests are required to enlist themselves when they are in Class 9.
