Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII Board Examination 2020 Fees Hiked

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination fees of class X and XII board examination 2020 has been increased from Rs.750 to Rs.1500, the information was shared by Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) Ramesh Pokhriyal in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha. According to HRD Minister, hike in fees is done on no profit no loss principle and is applicable to all the students including SC/ST candidates for all schools except for schools of Delhi government. In 1,299 schools of Delhi government, examination fee for all categories of Class X students is increased to Rs.1200 from Rs.350 and for Class XII students fees is increased to Rs.1200 from Rs.600.
