It has been announced by the National Medical Commission (NMC) that the academic session for the MBBS course for the year 2021 will start on February 14, 2022. NMC has also released the tentative academic curriculum for the MBBS batch starting this month.
The date of starting of the academic session and the duration of Undergraduate courses being offered across the country is decided under The Graduate Medical Education Regulation 1997. Referring to the above regulation, the NMC has published a notification on its official website informing about the delay in the commencement of MBBS courses due to the Covid Pandemic in the year 2021.
