Due to the current coronavirus outbreak, the National Board of Examinations announced that NEET SS (Super Specialty) is going to be unlikely in the months of July or even August. The Board is responsible for various PG medical entrances, and it has already delayed the course exit exams of MD, MS, as well as DNB Board Specialty Candidates.
The NEET SS is also meant to be conducted by the NBE as per their schedule of admissions as per the PGMER 2000 (Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations)
The board declared that since the exit examinations of MD, MS, and DNB have been deferred across the nation, it makes it very unlikely that the final exam relations will also be declared till the 15th of July, 2020. That is the usual cutoff date to qualify the given courses. Hence the Specialty exit exam for eligibility of NEET SS also will need to be postponed the Board mentioned.
The Board stated that the schedule for the NEET SS 2020 will be published on their website www.natboard.edu.in in the due course of time and situation.
