NTA Planning To Conduct JEE Main In Multiple Languages

As stated by HRD secretary R. Subrahmanyam, on the pattern of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), the government is planning to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) in multiple languages. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) is consulting with the entrance exam body, National Testing Agency (NTA). According to HRD Secretary, NEET is an entrance exam which is paper-based and JEE Main is a Computer-Based Test, therefore, certain issues prevail in conducting the entrance exam in 22 different languages. Government is determined to conduct the JEE Main exam in all regional languages, however, the process will take time. As per the latest notification of JEE Main 2020, the question paper will be set in English and Hindi, but cities in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the question paper will be set in English, Hindi and Gujarati. All the latest information about admissions will be available here.
