UGC NET June 2026 Provisional Answer Key Awaited
Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET exam are anxiously awaiting the provisional answer key and response sheet, which is causing growing concern. The NTA has yet to provide any information regarding the release of the answer key. According to reports, following irregularities in the NEET UG examination, protests are being directed at both the NTA and the Education Minister, which is causing a delay in the release of the answer key.
NTA Yet to Announce Official Answer Key Date
According to media reports, the National Testing Agency may release the provisional answer key and response sheet by the end of this week or next week. However, no official date has been announced yet.
Answer Key to be Downloaded Online
The NTA will release the UGC NET answer key online on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, where candidates will be able to download it by entering their login details.
After downloading the answer key and response sheet, candidates will be able to cross-reference their own answers. If they are not satisfied with any of the answers provided, they can lodge an objection against it by paying a fee of ₹200 per question within the specified dates.
Steps to Download the UGC NET Answer Key
- To download the UGC NET June 2026 answer key, you will need to visit the website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- On the website's homepage, you must click on the “Provisional Answer Key” link under the Latest News section.
- After this, you will need to enter your login credentials.
- The answer key will then open on the screen, from where you can download it.
The result will be released taking the final answer key into account. Any objections raised by candidates against the answer key will be addressed by a team of experts, and the final answer key will be prepared. The final result will also be prepared with this in mind. The result is highly likely to be released in August.
