Eligibility Criteria for MBA Programme
Shortlisting of Candidates for Personal Interview
To encourage diversity of Gender and Academic Disciplines, for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for Interview Process different weightages shall be assigned to the scores of different sections of the CAT 2019. A composite score shall be computed giving weightages of 30%, 30%, and 40% to the scores of QA, DI/LR and VRC sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT 2019 Examination for candidates who apply to FMS. An additional 3 marks shall be added to the Composite Score so computed in case of women candidates for the purpose of shortlisting. This composite score shall be used only for shortlisting the candidates for Interview Process.
Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Program
The candidates should have Master’s degree or a professional degree in Management Studies or allied subjects, declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate (or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7- point scale or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorised by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, will be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD and other categories of candidates as per the decision of University of Delhi from time to time. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures. All relaxations and reservations shall be as per the rules of Delhi University.
Exemption from PhD Entrance Examination (CAT 2019)
Candidates exempted from the Admission Test (CAT 2019) will also be required to register themselves for admission to Ph.D. Programme through FMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration form and by paying the requisite registration fee of Rs.1000/- between October 10, 2019 and November 25, 2019.
