Admission Registration

Steps in Filling up the application form:

  • Go to the Official site of Delhi University UG Admissions portal.
  • Please go to the new candidate registration button and complete the registration process.
  • Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.
  • Candidate has to fill in the above mentioned details to receive the User ID and Password.
  • Candidate will receive the User ID on the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number.
  • Candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form.
  • After that applicants will need scanned copies of the certificates which they need to take admission in respective courses.
  • Application form will only be considered as submitted when the applicant has successfully paid the relevant registration fee.It is further advised that candidate should keep the record of registration fee paid so that it can be shown as proof if required in future.
  • Minimum of five cut-offs shall be declared by the university. In case any seats are left vacant after declaring five -cut offs special cut - off may be declared by the university.College will declare the number of seats that are vacant after declaring fifth cut-off.
  • In this step applicant has to submit course and college in which they wish to claim admission they are eligible for.
  • Online verification of document submitted by applicant will be done by respective college in which applicant is eligible for admission.if all documents submitted by the applicant is approved by the college official then candidate will be informed about that he or she can pay admission fee to confirm seat. Fee can only be paid through online portal here.
  • Before completing the payment, the candidate can preview the application form and make any corrections, if required. Once the payment is done, no changes are allowed. Once done the candidate will agree to the declaration by ticking the appropriate box and submitting the form. The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.
  • In the end physical verification of document may be done by college.

Applicants may be fully responsible that they provide clear and exact information in document which they are submitting.

Documents for admission

The following documents must be attached to the Admission Form:

  • Attested copy of the university / board certificate of the last examination passed by the candidate
  • Attested copy of the Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
  • Proof for claiming any type of reservation: Single Girl Child, Sports Quota, Minority etc
  • Caste certificate issued by the SDM or Class I Magistrate (for SC / ST Students only ).
  • Migration certificate and original certificate of the examination passed in the case students who have passed from outside Delhi.
  • Two passport size photographs, one of candidate and another of her parents / gaurdian.
  • Two Anti Ragging Undertakings, downloaded from any of the websites: - www.antiragging.in or www.amanmovement.org, dulysigned one by the candidate and another by his/her parents.
