Direct Admission For A.M.C Engineering College

Students applying for the admissions have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected. 

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form :

• PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity 
• Qualification details
• Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
  
• Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
• For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility Service is a must.
• Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
• It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form : 

• Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created. 
• Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections 
• Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature.
• Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

Application and Prospectus Fees is Rs. 1,000/- to be paid at the time of admission. International Students to pay $1,000/- at the time of admission fee.

Eligibility

• MBA

The minimum Academic Qualifications required for required are passed Bachelor degree with at least 50% (rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. however, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC / ST and Category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.  

• MCA

The minimum Academic Qualifications required for required are passed Bachelor Degree with not less than 50% (rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted) of marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective at Degree Level. however, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to **SC/ST and Category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45% (rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted)

Provided further that a candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified in the first provision in the Pre-University Course with 50% of marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. However in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat-I, forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted) of marks in that subject shall be considered for Admission.

• MCA Lateral Entry:

The minimum Academic Qualifications required for required are passed recognized Bachelor's Degree in BCA, B.Sc (I.T./Computer Science) with Mathematics at 12th level or at Graduate Level and obtained an aggregate minimum of integer 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses (45% of marks in Q.E. in case of SC, ST and Categoet-I of Karnataka candidates) However in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC / ST and Cat-I forty five percent i.e. integer 45%

Documents Required At The Time Of Admission

• SSLC or 10th Standard or its equivalent marks card (Original).
• PUC or 12th marks card (Original), Diploma marks cards for III Semester lateral entry Students (Originals) and Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) CET verification card or CET Admission ticket (Original) for Diploma Management quota students. 
• Caste certificate (Original) 
  
• Income certificate (Original) 
• Transfer Certificate (Original) 
• Migration certificate for the students coming from outside Karnataka and CBSE/ICSE Students (Original) 
• Physical fitness certificate from any Regd. Medical Practitioner (Original) 
• 6 Passport size and 2 stamp size colour photographs. 
• Passport size parents photo 2 each. 
• Further, the students so admitted in our Institution should invariably possess at least Five sets of xerox copies of all the documents mentioned above along with 10 passport and 10 stamp size colour photographs. (Three sets of Xerox copies has to be produced at the time of admission) 
• The students other than PU Board, Bangalore and Karnataka CBSE should apply eligibility certificate from this college. 
• The students belonging to SC / ST and other categories should submit xerox copies of caste certificate, income certificate while applying for students scholarships.
