Eligibility
Passed the two-year Pre-University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University Health Sciences, with science subjects, viz, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students of Vocational Courses: 10+2 vocational course of State Government of Kerala with cognate subject namely Domestic Nursing and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects, vide notification No. UA/ELY-1/1999-2000 dated 11.08.2004. (subject to get the eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences). Obtained at least 50 percent of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination. If belonging to a scheduled caste or a scheduled tribe, should have obtained not less than forty percent of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination. Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Eligibility
The Candidate Seeking Admission Must Hold a diploma in general nursing and midwifery. Be a registered nurse. Have a minimum of one year of experience in hospital or community health settings. Have passed the pre university examination in science ( physics, chemistry, biology) conducted by department of pre university education with minimum 45 percentage of marks. Have working knowledge of English. Be medically fit. Have good personal and professional record. Be below 48 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission shell be eligible.

Have minimum of one year of experience after obtaining degree in hospital or nursing educational institution or community health setting For the candidate of Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree no such experience is needed after graduation. Registered in State Nursing Council has as registered nurse and registered midwife/ registered nurse for psychiatric nursing.
