Direct Admission For NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru

Students applying for the admissions have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected.

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form: 

• PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity 
• Qualification details
• Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
• Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
• For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility Service is a must.
• Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-cafe.
• It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form :

• Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created. 
• Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections
• Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature.

Eligibility:

Admission to M.Tech course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination (B. E. / B.Tech) as specified in ANNEXURE with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of all the all the semesters/years of the degree examination. (Cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters/ years divided by the sum of maximum marks). However, in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, aggregate marks shall not be less than 45%.

Admission through PGCET:

Government of Karnataka conducts PGCET tentatively during the month of July/ August. 80% of the total intake of the seats is to be filled through this test. For details please please visit www.kea.kar.nic.in during the month of May/June.

Admission through Management quota:

20% of the total intake of the seats is to be filled through management quota. Candidates with PGCET / qualified GATE Score are eligible to apply during the month of June / July. Admission through SNQ quota for FN/ PIO/ NRI/ students whose parents work in Gulf countries:

AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake. For more details can log on to www. nmit.ac.in/admissions/foreign admissions or can mail to: admissions@nmit.ac.in

PGCET Quota:

• CET Admission order – Original + 4 Copies 
• Marks cards of 10th std - original + 4 copies
• Marks cards of 12th std - original + 4 copies
• Marks cards of all semesters of Bachelor’s degree –original + 4 copies
• Transfer Certificate / College Leaving Certificate- Original+ 4 copies
• Migration Certificate (If Bachelor’s degree is from Non Karnataka state)- original + 4 copies
• Income & caste certificate- Original + 4 copies (if claiming seat under SC/ST/Cat-1)
• 5- Passport size photos
• 3 Attested copies of Address proof(Aadhaar card, passport copy, Voter ID etc)

Management Quota:

• PGCET / GATE / K- MAT / C- MAT rank card + 4 copies 
• Marks cards of 10th std - original + 4 copies
• Marks cards of 12th std - original + 4 copies
• 5 Passport size photographs
• Marks cards of all semesters of Bachelor’s degree –original + 4 copies
