Eligibility
a. The candidates should have a passed and have minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination. b. For candidates belonging to SC/ST and Cat-I a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination. c. The candidates should have appeared for common entrance test (CET) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore. d. The candidate should be completing 17 years of age as on 31st December of that academic year.

Eligibility
Candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject. b. Candidate shall have 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for general category and 5.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates at bachelor’s degree level. c. Candidate shall be a citizen of India and must have studied in any educational institution in Karnataka State for a period of seven academic years at any time up to the Bachelor’s degree as on 1st July of the admission year. [Not applicable to candidates who are GOK, GOI, ICAR nominees, NRIs and Foreign Nationals (FN)]. The domicile requirement is not applicable for admission to Doctoral degree programme.

a. The candidates should possess Master's Degree in respective subjects. b. Candidate should have OGPA of 6.50/10 or equivalent percentage of marks for general category and 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I/ candidates at Master’s degree level.
