Eligibility
Master‟s Degree in Education, with minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade „B‟ in the UGC 7 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). OR Master‟s Degree in any Discipline/equivalent, with minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade „B‟ in the UGC 7 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). OR The candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their Post-Graduate Degree in Education will also be eligible to appear for the admission process subject to the fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria in the final result thereof. OR Candidate‟s who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade „B‟ in the UGC 7 – point scale and successfully completed the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to take admission for Ph.D. program OR A candidate whose M.Phil. dissertation has been evaluated but viva voce is pending can be admitted to the Ph.D. programme.  A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differentlyabled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.  All of the candidates should clear the personal interview as a part of Ph.D. admission test.
