Eligibility
The applicant should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year. The applicant should have passed 12th standard (10+2) / Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together for open category and 40% for reserved category. He / she should be medically fit. Admission will be done through NEET test conducted at All India level from the Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.

Admission to First year Basic B.Sc Nursing course will be granted to Male & Female candidates who have passed HSC or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks in PCB ( open category ) & 40% ( reserved category).

Admissions to the Basic B.Sc Nursing course are centralized and are done on the basis of Merit cum Preference in the Common Entrance Examination. i.e. NEET/ MH-CET as per the directives issued by Govt of Maharashtra from time to time., Maharashtra Govt. CET Cell http://www.mahacet.org

The candidate should be an Indian. Outside Maharashtra Students (OMS) are also eligible for admission. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her domicile/ nationality. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Candidate shall be medically fit. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
