Important Dates

Application form can be downloaded front the RIMS website. The duly completed application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.2,000 only, drawn in favour of Director, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal  from a Nationalized Bank payable at Imphal as the cost of admission process fee and other charges, should reach the office of Principal college of Nursing, RIMS on time.

Eligibility

• The Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. 
• The Minimum education qualifications required are passed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc.Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with at least 55% aggregate marks. 
• The Candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing council. 
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an approved Hospital / College / School of Nursing or a Community Health Setting / programme after registration in the SNC. 
• Candidate shall be medically fit.

Selection process:

A selection committee will be formed for the selection process. Due to the present global pandemic situation, the merit list of admission will be prepared based on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, as per INC guidelines, only for this academic session. 

Scan copies of the following original Certificates:

• Admit card. 
• All marks sheets for B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Examination.
• Original degree certificate.
• State Nursing Council Registration Certificate.
• Age proof certificate.
• Domicile certificate.
• Caste certificate.
• Service appointment order for a sponsored category.
• No objection certificate from concerned authority if the candidate is Govt. employee.
• Medical certificate issued by a Medical officer from a Govt. Institute.
• Two recent colour passport size photographs.
