Direct Admission For Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur

Students applying for the admissions have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected.

Application Fee - Rs. 500/- (non-refundable).

The minimum educational qualifications required for admissions are passed

• Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (2 years) in any discipline or Integrated (Dual) Degree from IITs / IIMs / Other reputed top 50 Institutions / Universities from NIRF Ranking 2020, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point average in the Bachelor’s as well as 60% in the Master’s Degree.

• A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with B. Com Degree, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point average in the Professional degree as well as in the B. Com Degree.
• OR
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Engineering  / B.Arch.) with at least 6.5 cumulative grade point average (CGPA) or equivalent percent marks.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons-with-Disabilities will be given a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.

Age Limit:

• Candidate must not be more than 40 years as on June 1st, 2021

Selection Process

Candidates applying for PhD programme are required to take CAT or a standard test in lieu of CAT. CAT 2018, 2019 and 2020 is valid for 2021 PhD Admission at IIM Sambalpur. Alternatively, those who have GRE / GATE / GMAT / JRF (UGC /  CSIR) taken during the last two years will be considered valid for 2021 Admission.

Standard Test Score is not required if an applicant is PGP Alumni of any IIMs or Institutions/ Universities in NIRF 2020 top 50 Ranking of any two-year full-time PGP programme /Integrated Programme in Management where such courses are offered with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 and above on a scale of Ten or equivalent.

Selection will be based on Test Score, Personal Interview, Academic Qualifications, Relevant work experience, Research Aptitude, Publications and Reference Letter.
