Eligibility
A person who has passed +2 examinations in any discipline with at least 50% marks and passed Mathematics as one of the subject at Matriculation examination level shall be eligible to join the first semester class of B.C.A. Course. OR Any other examination recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to above. 50 % seats are reserved for Sikh minority students. 5% weightage be given for each of the subject of Mathematics and Computer Science/Information Technology to the candidate who studied 10+2 level at the time of admission in BCA –I

Eligibility
A candidate who has passed one of the following examinations with pass in English as one of the subjects shall be eligible to join the Semester I class of B.Sc. Non-Medical (General) Degree Course in a College affiliated to Panjab University. However, a candidate who has not qualified English as one of the subjects at the 10+2 examinations, shall be eligible to join B.Sc. 1 semester provisionally subject to his/her qualifying the deficient subject of English from the parent Board/Body/Council/University in two consecutive chances subsequent to his/her admission, failing which his/her admission to B.Sc. 1 semester and the result for the examination shall automatically stand cancelled:- (a)B.Sc. Part-I (Old Scheme)/ Intermediate/ Science/ Agriculture examination of Panjab University. OR (b)The 10+2 examination under 10+2+3 system of education of a recognized University/Board/ Council. OR Any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent to (a) and (b) above. Provided that: A person joining B.Sc. course must have obtained at least 40% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. A B.Sc. student must have out of the three elective subjects offered by him/her , passed at least 2 Science subjects in the qualifying examination. He/she may offer the third elective subjects from the Faculty of Science. A candidate who has been placed under compartment at 10+2 examination conducted by Board/Body/Council/University in India shall be eligible to seek admission to the 1 Semester of B.Sc. course/s if he/she fulfills the following conditions: He/she should have been placed under compartment in one subject only. He/she should have obtained at least 20% marks in the subject in which he has been placed in the compartment. He/she should have obtained the required percentage of marks in the aggregate of the examination as laid down in the relevant regulations.

Admission to the first semester of B.Com. Degree course shall be open to a person who has passed one of the following examinations conducted by a recognized Board/Council/University:- 10+2 examination or B.Com.- Part-I (Old scheme) of Panjab University with three of the following subjects securing at least 45 per cent marks in the aggregate: – Commerce (or theory of commerce or foundation course in commerce), Accountancy (or book-keeping and accountancy), Economics, Business Organization (or Business Management or Theory and Practice of Management), Insurance (or General Insurance or Life Insurance), Banking and Trade, Commercial Geography, Office Management and Secretarial Practice (or Office Organization and Management) Mercantile Law (or any Company Law) Auditing, Typewriting and Stenography/Computers (for typewriting) 10+2 Examination with at least two of the subjects mentioned in (a) securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. 10+2 examination that does not covered in (a) and (b) securing at least 55%marks. Any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent to (a) or (b) or (c) as given above with requisite percentage of marks given under each clause.

Eligibility
Passed 10+2 in any stream or its equivalent examination. 20% marks are required in compartment subject. Aggregate should be 33% of the total including compartment subject. Students who have less than 20% marks in the compartment subject can also get temporary admission but it is important for them to get more than 20% marks in the supplementary examination and submit their result before sending the university admission form. Submit at the college office. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission.

Chemistry degree course. A Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject(Chemistry), or 50% Marks in the aggregate Or B.A. /B.Sc. with Honours in chemistry of the Panjab University or from any other University recognised by the syndicate as equivalent there to.

Eligibility
A person who has passed one of the following examination from the Panjab University or an Examination recognized by Syndicate as equivalent, shall be eligible to join the M.Sc. Physics degree course A Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject (Physics), or 50% Marks in the aggregate. Or B.A. /B.Sc. with Honours in Physics of the Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the syndicate as equivalent there to.

A person who has passed one of the following examination from the Panjab University or an Examination recognized by Syndicate as equivalent, shall be eligible to join the M.Sc. Mathematics degree course A Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject (Mathematics), or 50% marks in the aggregate Or B.A. /B.Sc. with Honours in Mathematics of the Panjab University or from any other University recognised by the syndicate as equivalent there to.

Eligibility
The minimum qualification for admission to the first semester of the course shall be:– A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; B.Com. (Hons.) Degree with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; OR A graduate with Honours in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics OR Commerce with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate ;OR A graduate with 50% marks in the aggregate having offered either Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Commerce as a subject in the examination : Provided that in case of candidates having Bachelor’s degree of the University through Modern Indian Languages [Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script)] and/or in a Classical Language (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognized by the Syndicate; 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective subject taken together; OR An associate of the (i) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Or England Or(ii)Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India Or England; OR A pass in the final examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India; OR Any other qualification recognized by the Syndicate for this purpose.

Eligibility
A person who has passed one of the following examination from Panjab University or an examination recognized by the syndicate as equivalent there to, shall be eligible to join the M.A. degree course; A Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject of postgraduate course or 50% marks in the aggregate. B.A. with Honours in the subject of Postgraduate course or BSc. Honours School course. Master’s degree examination in any other subject.

Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree of Panjab University under 10+2+3 system of examination with at least 50% marks in any discipline (45% marks for SC and BC Students).
