Admission Information

                                                      Eligibility

M.Sc. Nursing:

  • The minimum education requirement should be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. SC/ST candidates may be given relaxation of 5% marks.
  • The candidate should have undergone B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
  • Candidate shall be medically fit
  • Selection of candidate will be based on the merit as per Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot

B.Sc. NURSING:

  • The candidate should have passed 10+1 and 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  • Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec., of the corresponding year
  • All candidates should apply for admission to the B.F.U.H.S. who fulfills the eligibility criteria and other conditions. The Selection of candidates will be made by the Central Admission Committee among the candidates who have qualified the PPMET

POST BASIC B.Sc. NURSING:

  • The candidate should have passed GNM Examination after 10+2
  • The candidate should be registered with the state council
  • Selection of the candidates shall be made as per the norms set by the university from time to time

GNM:

  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 with any stream. Preference shall be given to the candidates with the science stream
  • Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec., of the corresponding year
  • Selection of the candidate shall be on the merit

ANM

  • Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec., of the corresponding year
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of 10+2 examination in any stream from a recongnised institution. Subjects of study must be equivalent to those prescribed by the CBSE for Class 12th with minimum 35% marks.
