Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to various UG degree programmes of the University must have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subjects as shown below at Higher Secondary/10 + 2/Intermediate examination for General/OBC/UPS category and 40% marks in aggregates for SC/ST including physically challenged/in-service candidates. (i) The relevant subjects for UG programme: B.F.Sc.: PCB/PCMB or Inter-Agriculture. (ii) Candidates should have passed (10+2) examination with English as one of the subject of study. (iii)The candidates must have attained 16 years of age on 31st August of the admission year. (iv)The selection/nomination of candidates should be made through Common Entrance Test conducted by the concerned State. Students seeking admission to any of the above degree programmes shall be permanent resident or domicile of any one of the seven North East States of India, viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura

Eligibility
Candidates with Bachelors’ degree in concerned/related subjects from a recognized University with OGPA of 6.60/10.00, 3.25/5.00, 2.6/4.00 for General/OBC/UPS candidates are eligible for admission to the Master’s Degree programmes. SC/ST/PC candidates with OGPA of 5.60/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 in the Bachelor’s degree programme shall be eligible for the admission. In case where Grade Points are not awarded, only marks are awarded, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC/UPS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/PC category. Candidates possessing 10+6 B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree shall also be eligible for admission to M.Sc. (Agri.) & M.Sc. (Hort.) programme

Eligibility
Candidates with Master’s degree in concerned/related subjects from a recognized University with OGPA of 6.50/10.00, 3.25/5.00, 2.6/4.00 are eligible for admission to the Doctoral programmes under General/OBC/UPS category. SC/ST/PC category candidates with OGPA of 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 in the Master’s degree shall be eligible for admission. In case where Grade Points are not awarded, only marks are awarded, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC/UPS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/PC category
