General Instructions for filling up the Application Form

Students applying for the admission have to fill up the application form on the official site.

A student can submit the application only once; multiple forms will be rejected.

The submission is ONLINE.

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of admission

• PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
• Qualification details
• Scanned copy of passport photograph and Scanned copy of signature.
• Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
• Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
• For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net Banking facility, UPI or PAYTM Service is a must.
• Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
• It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill-up the form.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the admission:

Step-1: Students have registered for the Online Application Form. A login and password are created.

Step-2: Student has to complete the Application Form and its various sections

Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images 

Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI / PAYTM

Important Instructions about admission Application Process

• All steps have to be completed before you can submit the form.
• Incomplete forms will be rejected.

Applicants for all IMT PGDM and MBA programs must have a minimum three - year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. Applicants who are appearing for the final - year degree examination can also apply, subject to the submission of all mark sheets and pass certificates to IMT’s Academic Program office at a later date. Failing to do so will result in admission being canceled.

IMT Ghaziabad :

To apply for IMT Ghaziabad’s two year PGDM program, applicants must be registered for CAT - 2020 OR XAT - 2021 OR have taken / taking the GMAT (January 1, 2016 – February 28, 2021). In the case of the candidates applying on the basis of GMAT and score is not provided, processing of application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official GMAT score on or before March 15, 2021.

• IMT shortlists applicants on basis of best score among the above-mentioned tests.

Selection Process

• IMT will conduct the Common Admissions process in February and March 2021 for shortlisted candidates from the IMT Common Application form for its final selection process.
• CAT / XAT / GMAT (best score)
• Academic Scores (Xth, XIIth and graduation) and quality/reputation and ranking of graduating college/institute/university
• Performance in Written Assessment Test (WAT) and Personal Interview process.
• Work experience, both in duration and quality (for working candidates).
