Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery or BAMS is a 5.5 years long graduate degree that covers the study of the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda, on completion of which the student is awarded with the degree of Ayurvedacharya. The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is that the students should have completed their 10+2 (science stream) from a recognized school. BAMS course duration also includes one year of internship and covers an exhaustive investigation of current life structures, physiology, standards of the solution, social and preventive pharmaceuticals, and alike.
