This course involves study dairy systems management; breeding and genetics; livestock behaviour and welfare; meat science and food safety; nutrition; reproduction; equine sciences to prepare for future employment in the animal agricultural industries and/or the pursuit of a doctoral degree. students with a bachelor degree or equivalent in Animal Sciences, Biology or related fields, who like to specialize in the field of Animal Breeding and Genetics can take this course. Subjects may include a conglomerate from the following: Some recommended courses are: Molecular Biology, Models and Algorithms in Bioinformatics, Genome Analysis - Methodology, Molecular Genomics, Animal Breeding Plans and Theory and Application of Inbreeding Management.
