Master of Apparel

The program is designed to prepare students to be effective professionals in the global apparel industry. The course includes study of complete design problem-solving and consumer behaviour to bring an understanding of both to meet challenges in the global fashion industry. It provides knowledge about apparel product design expertise, consumer behaviour expertise, strong research skills, an understanding of social responsibility and sustainability, and strong communication skills. The course includes study of apparel supply chains and social responsibility, sustaining global apparel supply chains, culture and work in the apparel industry, consumers and social responsibility, initiatives for apparel industry labor compliance, redesigning green apparel and their design, sourcing and packaging and producing environmentally responsible apparel.
