Banaras Hindu University Post Graduate Entrance Test for Master of Agri-Business Management 2020 or BHU PET MABM 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to MBA (Agribusiness). BHU PET MABM 2020 is conducted by Banaras Hindu University.

BHU PET MABM for the year 2020 has been announced by Banaras Hindu University and will be held on 28/08/2020. The application forms will be available from 30/01/2020 till 12/03/2020. The Minimum Academic Qualifications for 4 years B.Sc.(Ag)/B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag.OR an equivalent examination recognized by the University/ICAR or 4 years degree programme in B.Sc.(Forestry) / B.Sc. (Horticulture)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry/ B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Hons)  Biotechnology/ B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)/ B.E. (Agricultural Engg.)/ B.V.Sc & A.H./B.Tech (Dairy Technology)/B.Tech. (Food Technology) from a recognized university.


Qualifying marks:

The qualifying marks for each category are as follows:

    Test Centre Details

    • The information of the Test centre allocated is provided along with admit card.
    • It includes the address of the centre.
    • One should locate the centre on Google Maps.
    • It is a good practice and strongly advised to visit the centre one day before to know about the time taken to reach the centre. By doing so one can reach well in time on the examination day. It prevents wastage of time trying to locate the centre and thus avoids the stress created, if the centre is not easy to find.

    In case a candidate prefers to be considered for more than one course for which there are separate / common entrance tests, he /she shall apply for each such course separately (See a schedule of Entrance Tests). However, in case the candidate makes application (fills up application form) for more than one course under PET 2020, the Application Processing Fee / Entrance Test Fee payable by him/her for each subsequent application* (after first application) shall be charged as per reduced rates given below:

    Steps in Filling up the application form:

    Step 1

    • Go to the Official site.

    Step 2

    • Please go to the new candidate registration button and complete the registration process.
    • Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.

    Step 3

    • Candidate has to fill in the above-mentioned details to receive the User ID and Password.
    • Candidate will receive the User ID on the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number.

    Step 4

    • Candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form for BHU PET MABM 2020
    • For applying to the multiple courses Single Registration is sufficient.
    • Candidates are required to fill separate Application Forms for each course of study as detailed in this Guide. However, candidates should submit a single Application Form for courses for which a combined Test is to be conducted.

    Step 5

    • Before completing the payment, the candidate can preview the application form and make any corrections, if required. Once the payment is done, no changes are allowed. Once done the candidate will agree to the declaration by ticking the appropriate box and submitting the form. The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.

    General Instructions for filling up the Application Form

    Students applying for the BHU PET MABM 2020 have to fill up the application form on the official site.

    A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected.

    The submission is ONLINE only.

    Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of BHU PET MABM 2020

    • PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
    • Qualification details
    • Recent passport size colour photograph (for scanning and uploading in "jpeg" format only. Scanned photo ( 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm): 100 KB).
    • Your signature using Blue/Black pen on white sheet (for scanning and uploading in "jpeg" format only. Scanned signature ( 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm): 100 KB).
    • Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
    • Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
    • For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility, UPI or PAYTM Service is a must.
    • Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
    • It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

    Candidates are not allowed to make any correction at a later stage after submission of an application. O correction is entertained via post, fax, email or by hand.

    The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the BHU PET MABM 2020

    Admit Card.

    The Candidates can download the Admit card download one week before the scheduled date onwards from the official site. Once it is downloaded it should be printed. Instructions on the Admit Card should be read carefully as very important details may be provided along with the Admit Card. The following information is provided with the admit card:

    • Roll Number
    • Name and place along with the address of the Exam or Test entre
    • Date of the Exam, which is 25th May 2020
    • Session of the exam, which is a Morning session
    • Timings of the exam; the exam starts at 9 am and finishes at 11 am.
    • Photo to be fixed on the admit card, if required
    • Copy of the passport-sized photo may be required to be taken to the Test Centre.
    • Information is also provided about the identity-related documents to be taken to the Exam centre.
    • These may include Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, voter card etc. The chosen identity-related documents should be readied.
    • Instructions will also be provided about any other document required.
    • Instructions about any photocopying documents will also be provided.
    • Stationary related information is also provided with the Admit Card.

    Preparation for the Exam Day

    • The Admit card should be downloaded and printed immediately.
    • A few copies of the Admit Card should be kept in reserve as these are also used at the time of admission and counselling.

    • Copy of the photo may be required to be taken to the Test Centre
    • Stationary related articles as mentioned should be kept ready.
    • Dress related details will also be provided in the prospectus as well as with the admit card and should be followed.
    • Items not to be taken to the Exam centre or barred should be noted.

    Before entering the Exam Centre

    • Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card.
    • Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
    • Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
    • If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
    • Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
    • Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
    • Usually no bags are allowed.
    • No eatables are allowed.
    • No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager/ wireless set, scanner, camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
    • Handbag / Carry bag/ Mobile phone / calculator /watch/any other electronic gadget or any paper (other than the Admit Card) shall not be allowed inside the Test Hall/Room and the University shall not be responsible for its safekeeping. If a candidate is found in possession of any such item during the Test, he/she would be deemed to have used unfair means and may lead to cancellation of his/her candidature.

    After entering the centre

    • Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat.
    • If mentioned, candidates will be hand frisked as well as photographed or video graphed before entering the centre
    • After all the formalities, candidates should enter the allotted hall and take the designated seat.
    • For Objective Type question papers, rough work is to be done in the space provided for this purpose. No rough work is allowed on the OMR Answer Sheet under any situation.
    • Questions have to be answered on the answer sheet only.
    • Copying, use of unfair means of any kind, talking, asking questions from other candidates or borrowing of material inside the Test Centre is strictly prohibited.
    • The candidates are to return their OMR answer-sheets and the question paper in full to the Centre Superintendent. Tearing or taking away of the question paper is not allowed failing which the candidates shall be disqualified from the entire Entrance Test.
    • Smoking is a not allowed.
    • Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
    • Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet/cancellation of the candidature.
    • Marking the answer sheet or question paper in any way will also lead to cancellation of the exam for that candidate.
